Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee

At The Dylan Amsterdam we are looking for a motivated and eager to learn Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee to support our Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor in their daily activities and projects.

Located at the Keizersgracht, in the heart of the Nine Streets you find Amsterdam’s best kept secret: The Dylan Amsterdam. A 5-star luxury boutique hotel where it is all about sincere and personal service and where we would like to create memorable experiences for our guests. A historic location with 40 beautiful hotel rooms. The Dylan Amsterdam has two Food & beverage outlets, the Two Michelin star Restaurant Vinkeles and Bar Brasserie OCCO.

As a Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee, you will assist the Housekeeping Manager in guiding and inspiring the Housekeeping team. Together with the team, you will be responsible for achieving the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the hotel. During this internship, you can develop your leadership skills in practice. The Dylan Amsterdam offers an excellent learning environment for future managers.

In addition to managing the team, you will support the Room Attendants, the Turn Down, and the Linen Room in their daily activities. This also includes responding directly to special guest requests, such as placing an extra bed or bringing extra towels, and answering guest questions.

The Housekeeping Supervisor internship is a very dynamic and educational position.

Who are you?

• HBO level, preference is given to a hotel school education.
• You have experience working in a hotel.
• You have a real ”hands on” mindset.
• You have good organizational skills and the ability to plan well.
• You work accurate and precisely.
• You have an eye for detail.
• You are stress resistant and are a real go-getter.
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
