Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager at The Dylan Amsterdam, you give our brand identity a voice and ensure a consistent and distinctive brand experience, both online and offline. With inspiring content, high-converting campaigns, optimized websites, and successful PR collaborations, you increase our visibility, create commercial opportunities, and make the most of them. You are a true all-round marketeer.

Located at the Keizersgracht, in the heart of the Nine Streets neighborhood is Amsterdam’s best kept secret: The Dylan Amsterdam. A 5-star luxury boutique hotel where we offer sincere and personal service and create memorable experiences for our guests. A historical environment with 41 unique hotel rooms, 4 private rooms for meetings & events and three restaurants: Bar Brasserie OCCO, Two Michelin star awarded Restaurant Vinkeles, and the smallest fine-dining restaurant in The Netherlands, até.

In this role, you are jointly responsible for the commercial growth and global positioning of The Dylan Amsterdam, including its restaurants. You safeguard and strengthen the brand identity and tone of voice, developing creative campaigns that contribute to the visibility and experience of our brand. You work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and take the lead of the department in their absence.

Responsibilities – Marketing & PR:

  • Strengthen the positioning of The Dylan and our restaurants on a national and international level.
  • Joint responsibility for strategically defining, reaching, and engaging the right target audiences at different stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Manage, update, and optimize all online channels, including websites, social media, and external platforms.
  • Analyze and maximize online performance to improve conversion and visibility.
  • Initiate, launch, and evaluate creative marketing projects and campaigns.
  • Maintain close contact with external marketing agencies and (international) partnerships.
  • Safeguard quality, branding, and tone of voice across all communications, including social media, email marketing campaigns, and printed materials.
  • Monitor marketing results and KPIs and contribute to the annual Sales & Marketing plan.

 

Responsibilities – Account Management:

  • Represent The Dylan Amsterdam during sales and marketing activities, including (inter)national trips.
  • Increase market share within your assigned markets/segments.
  • Ensure an up-to-date and well-maintained CRM.
  • Welcome clients, organize client events, and provide hotel tours.

 

Do you recognize yourself in the following points?

  • You have graduated from the Higher Hotel School or another relevant program.
  • HBO (higher professional) working and thinking level.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar hotel; marketing experience is crucial.
  • You work well in a team and can inspire colleagues within and outside the Sales & Marketing department with your ideas.
  • You have an affinity with developments in the digital landscape.
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English is required.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • You are well-organized and enjoy a structured schedule to make optimal use of your time.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, Digital Ads, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
